It is a known fact that all seeing babies benefit from having things around them to look at. It is also known that for younger babies, along with faces, black and white patterns seem to be the most interesting and visually stimulating. Print out some or all of these pictures and hang them up near baby's changing table, crib, and other areas where baby spends time. For safety's sake, make sure to keep the pictures well out of baby's reach. Another way to make it safer is to laminate the pictures before you put them up.
